There have been several brief discussions here on Tim Tawa, the West Linn, Oregon quarterback that has been commited to Stanford's baseball program for a year. Tim is a gifted two-sport athlete that I've seen listed at 5'11 and 165 but is now showing up in print at 6' and 171. That's a little shy of Shaw's NFL-sized quarterback specs he seems to favor, but he could be a walk-on candidate if Shaw agrees and Marquess approves.

West Linn plays Portland-Jesuit in the Oregon 6A final next Saturday and Tawa is on center stage. Last night he became Oregon's all time single season passing record holder with 4,171 yards in 13 games, and with one to play, he will further pad his totals. He has thrown 50 touchdown passes and remarkably, with only 2 interceptions.

He has some talented wide receivers that are D-1 prospects in Connor Berggren (6'2", 190) and Junior Elijah Molden (5'10", 180), Oregon's top recruit for 2017. Molden, an Oregon Duck legacy has a Stanford offer at CB and has a high interest in the Cardinal. Berggren has 1,893 yards in receptions and 22 touchdowns for the season.
