Went ahead and checked out the board reactions from USC and Oregon (via 247 and SB Nation) just to see what their fan bases had to say about last night's game. Here are a few of the general musings and observations I came across:
Trojan Fans
Trojan Fans
- Devastated over yet another early season, hype-silencing loss
- Up in arms over Wilcox and the rest of the coaching staff
- Don't seem to be giving Stanford much credit in the win, preferring to look at our offensive success as a crappy defense making a crappy offense look great
- Still believe Hogan is garbage despite their eyes telling them otherwise last night
- Convinced that Stanford will go on to drop a number of games as we get deeper into conference play
- Generally rooted for Stanford over USC
- Extremely pleased we took down the fervently loathed Trojans (and their equally hated head coach)
- Came away far more impressed over our performance, particularly on offense
- Believe that Stanford is a team to be reckoned with when Hogan is hot and last night proved it
- Not overly concerned about losing the North at this point but intrigued that there now appears to be a legitimate contender in their repeat bid for the North
