With last night’s game, I’d much prefer facing USC to Utah, and perhaps to facing UCLA, too.
That USC-Colorado game also should end Sagarin’s love affair with USC, just as it’s altered my view of the Trojans. I though they were extremely talented and dangerous, but not consistent.
But we beat them 41-31, and have played three teams in common with the Trojans: Arizona, Colorado, and Washington.
They beat the Wildcats by eight; we beat them by 38.
They lost to Washington by five; we beat them by 17.
And last night, they beat Colorado, a team we overwhelmed by 32, by three.
And of course, we beat SC by 10, making our total for those four common games 164-62, and SC’s 108-112.
It will be interesting to see Sagarin this week.
And Go Cardinal!
