Shaw really needs to help his players define what they are.
Are they a power running team?
Are they a read option team ?
Are they a west coast offense ?
Are they a spread offense ?
I saw a little bit of all 4 of those offenses, and he did not stick with any of the schemes for long enough to get his offense into a groove. I did not watch the offensive line play closely enough during live action, to see if that was where the breakdowns were occurring.
Hogan definitely has his faults, same faults as the last 5 years. I think Shaw needs to turn him loose a little, just so he won't feel so pressured on the plays that he does ask for a little bit more from him. But , darn he floats so many balls, he led at least 3 receivers out of bounds with floaters and he floated a Touchdown pass to hooper which got picked and should have been a pick six.
Shaw once again really has his work cut out for him. The only good news is that maybe the 2016 recruits see a chance to get on the field early. Because that is the only thing they could have seen
