Tim Tawa will be an outfielder at Stanford -- with a preference for center field -- but he will not be a quarterback. He had one of the greatest prep careers in Oregon state history and he has already transitioned to focusing on baseball. He feels that sport is his best chance for a professional career and he wants to put as much time toward that as possible.
He seems like a great young man who hasn't developed a big ego despite plenty of attention since he was a sophomore.
