Stanford outscored Oregon 9-1 in the past two games after losing 10-1 Thursday and shut out Oregon for the last 16 innings. The pitching staff seems to be getting stronger and the bullpen's depth gives Esquer the comfort level to pull Miller after four innings rather than try to stretch him another inning. I thought Oregon played really well and has some great players. Kyle Kasser was an absolute pain and Esquer joked that Kasser was Tony Gwynn in the series. If Oregon keeps playing like that they will knock off teams in the Pac-12.
