Cal did some celebrating and a little talking on the field after upsetting Stanford Thursday night. Stanford responded with a dominant win Friday night to even the series. The Cardinal scored 10 in the second, capped by a three-run shot by Maverick Handley. Stanford has not lost consecutive games this season.
