As a parent of a StanU player for the last four years, I can honestly say that it was a blessing to have my son mentored by David Shaw's staff. He and the fellow coaches exemplified composer and leadership in the face of many different situations. During what are very formative years (18-22) for manhood, I couldn't ask for my son to have been around better representations of what a real man is. At some point football ends for everyone and the life lessons and examples that Coach Shaw and his staff lived will impact my son and the other players on the his team(s) for an eternity. Every weekend we would look at oposing sidelines or watch on TV and see what opponent coaches were doing and we would close our eyes and give thanks. #CARDFOREVER
