Following Oregon State's Civil War loss to Oregon, an OSU assistant coach told a reporter, "We are meeting with the players over the weekend and we're just going to have to tell some of them they can't play at Oregon State".

It's started - as of today there have been six transfers reported which may only be the half of it. This appears to be a very unhappy and frustrated coaching staff. There was a large exodus last spring when Anderson arrived with a new offense and a new set of team rules.

Making a complete changeover from Riley's Pro-style offense to the Spread as opposed to transitioning the scheme change over a year, caused a great deal of turmoil with in-place quarterbacks Del Rio, and Kempt transferring out and a third moving to TE. There were numerous position changes and some moving to the other side of the ball.

At the start of fall camp, the roster had shrunk from 85 to 58. They graduated 5 Seniors this year but will sign some mid-year JC transfers they can count against the 2015 class and take a "full boat" of 25 in the 2016 class.
Life was easier in Madison.
