Reading about the Branson Bragg commitment in CFB Reddit, someone posted the following about Elijah Higgins:
"I know Elijah, and so I’ll shed some light on his recruitment. In terms of who’s already offered, he’s all Stanford. Unlike many have claimed, Texas has never been his dream school. People kind of seemed just to assume that it was though, as he lives in Austin. Elijah has always been open to all of his options, and has made a lot of visits as he wants to make the best decision for him. Stanford seems to be his number one, with Florida and Ohio State being 2 and 3 respectively.
Elijah is from Florida, and his father played at South Florida. He really wants an offer from Florida State, and so getting one could throw a wrench in things because of this. Unless Florida State offers, he’ll almost certainly be a Cardinal (do y’all call your players that?).
He’s a beast both athletically and physically. He’s dominated every camp he’s gone to, and is great at using his physicality and big frame to his advantage. Elijah is deceptively fast as well. Also, he’s very academically inclined (as you can guess given the fact that y’all offered him), and becoming a vet is one of the careers that he is interested in"
