Stanford has extended 17 new offers to prospects in the 2016 class over the past few days, more than doubling their 2016 offer total. (And there might be a few more that trickle out, not completely sure.) I can, however, confirm that all of the recently reported 2016 offers are legitimate.
(Re: the reported 2017 QB offer - I'd hit the pause button on that one for now.)
Just to get all of these in one place, here is the confirmed list of new 2016 offers. I'll have an article up with Garrett Rand later today or tomorrow, and am also planning to check in with Treyjohn Butler today. (Both of those guys have expressed an extremely high interest in Stanford at various points in their recruitments.) I'll start calling the rest of the new 2016 offers last week.
