Here are some notes from the on-field portion of Stanford's Pro Day, which ran approximately three hours. I'll have a bunch of videos/interviews up in the next few days as well.

First, here were the participants.

Henry Anderson
Alex Carter
Kyle Olugbode
David Parry
Andrus Peat
Eddie Plantaric
Jordan Richards
Ricky Seale
AJ Tarpley
James Vaughters
Lee Ward

All 32 NFL teams were in attendance. 75+ scouts/player personnel/coaches were at the Pro Day, which is more than Stanford has had in recent years, even the Luck/DeCastro/Martin class of 2012.

A number of former Stanford players (and current NFL standouts) were also on hand:

-Tyler Gaffney
-Jeremy Stewart
-Jim Dray
-Coby Fleener
-Cam Fleming
-Griff Whalen
-Sione Fua
-Chase Thomas
-Josh Mauro

Wayne Lyons was also in attendance, taking in the workouts with his (likely former) Stanford teammates. For the record, I did try to get an interview with him after the event concluded, but he politely declined.

As for the testing itself, we're expecting to receive a full list of results from Stanford later today. In the meantime, thanks to the trusty stopwatch of Fborg, the Stanford football twitter account, and a few others, here are the times I have. Each player ran two 40-yard dashes and went through the other agility tests once. Keep in mind that not every player did every drill. Some chose to stand on many of their combine times.

Alex Carter
-4.42 40 per Stanford football. (He was also recorded at 4.47 (first run), 4.48 and 4.59 (second run) from the spectator area, which was, say, 20 yards from the track.)

Ty Montgomery
-4.46 40 (per Stanford football). Also recorded at 4.41 (first run), 4.41 and 4.44 (second run) by folks in the spectator area.
-4.20 20-yard shuttle per Stanford football.
-6.98 three-cone drill per Stanford football, 6.87 three-cone per spectator time

Kyle Olugbode
-4.9 40 (second run recorded from the spectator area)
-6.95 three-cone (per Stanford football)
-4.35 20-yard shuttle (per Stanford football)

Eddie Plantaric
-5.03 (first run), 5.0 40 (second run, both recorded from the spectator area)

Jordan Richards
-4.49 40 (per Stanford football) 4.56, 4.58, 4.50 recorded from spectator area
-4.29 20-yard shuttle (per Stanford football)
-34.5 vertical

David Parry
-Parry didn't do a ton of drills (he stood on some of his combine times), but he was timed at 7.30 in the three-cone drill.

Ricky Seale
-4.57, 4.60 (first run), 4.47 (second run) recorded from spectator area. Apparently clocked a 4.55 per the ESPN3 broadcast.
-4.35 20-yard shuttle (per Stanford football)
-7.18 three-cone drill (recorded from spectator area)

A.J. Tarpley
-4.69, 4.83 (first run), 4.70, 4.71, 4.72 (second run), all recorded from spectator area. Also a 4.67 on at least one clock.
-6.78, 6.85 three-cone (recorded from spectator area). Also, per linked tweet, 6.75 on at least one clock. 6.90 per Stanford football. (For reference, the fastest LB at the 2015 NFL Combine ran a 6.68 three-cone, the second-fastest a 6.78. So AJ was top percentile on this drill.)
-4.00 20-yard shuttle (from spectator area), 4.10 per Stanford football, 4.06 per Tarpley tweet. For reference, the top three 20-yard shuttle times for LB's at the combine were 4.00, 4.03, 4.08. So, again, Tarpley crushed it in the agility stuff.
-24 reps on the bench press.
-34 inch vertical
-9'7'' broad jump

James Vaughters
-4.82 40 (first run), 4.84, 4.86 (second run) recorded from spectator area. Apparently the ESPN3 broadcast had him at 4.75/4.72
-35 reps on the bench of 225 pounds (that would have tied for first among all LB's at the combine. Second at the combine was 31 reps)
-7.00 three-cone drill (per Stanford football), 6.95 three-cone per spectator timing
-4.36/4.38 20-yard shuttle per spectator recording

Lee Ward
-35 reps on the bench at 225 pounds (For reference, 30 was the top number for running backs/fullbacks at this year's combine. The all-time combine record is 36.)
-4.76 (first run), 4.9 (second run), both spectator timed

##########

-So, the times that really pop out are a)Ty + Richards' 40-yard sprints and b)AJ Tarpley's shuttle and three-cone.

Chatting with Ty/his agent during the event, Ty actually dropped 10 pounds from the combine, where he ran a 4.55, to the Pro Day, and the decision paid off. He's around 211 now, and was blazing fast. Plus, he looked smooth and didn't have any drops (that I saw, anyway) during position drills. Robbie Picazo threw passes to Ty, Ward, Plantaric and Ricky Seale, and Montgomery had a really nice performance. Only one pass hit the ground, and it was several feet behind him.

-Richards ran a 4.65 at the NFL Combine, so a huge improvement for him as well. Would think that might open some eyes.

-Tarpley might not have been invited to the combine, but those agility times are pretty terrific. Will be interesting to see what NFL teams think of him in the draft.

-Andrus Peat didn't do the running/agility stuff, but he was in absolutely terrific shape (best I've seen him), and, best I could tell, did a nice job in the offensive line position drills. Cam Fleming actually worked with Peat (guess they needed another body for Andrus to go up against), which was kind of neat. Offensive line guru Alex Gibbs worked with Andrus during the Pro Day workout.

-Not at all a Pro Day note, but former NFL tight end Doug Jolley is currently pursuing a PhD at Stanford and it sounds like he'll be helping out this spring. Don't think he's an official graduate assistant or anything (though I suppose that could change), but never hurts to have that sort of experience around the program at a position with plenty of young talent.
