(Question about Chris Borland's retirement due to concern over head trauma)
...What you're doing to your body and the long-term effects of what you're doing. You know that going into it so it doesn't really effect anything with me, personally. Maybe some guys it might. I know that down the road you can have some side effects from playing football but I love the game. I'm not going to ever stop playing until I have to. It doesn't effect anything that I'm doing.
When you read that story, I mean, most people were surprised. What was your [/I]reaction?
I was surprised He had a great season, promising future. So to see a guy like that hang it up early like that is a little shocking. But you have to respect his decision. For him, his priorities are to live a long, healthy life, I guess, and not have any long-term effects from playing football. So I guess you have to respect that decision. Other guys want to play the game for a long time and make a lot of money. So it's just different people, different priorities.
Any contact with the Niners?
I don't know, I've talked to a bunch of teams .They all kind of blending together.
You'll probably attend the 49ers local Pro Day?
I don't know. My agent is kind of setting all that stuff up for me.
How you think everything went today?
Good. He worked us pretty good. A lot different than the combine where you have 25 guys in your group. We had four guys out there, moving through everything pretty quickly. He worked us good but I thought we all did really well out there and I think all four of us within the front seven have good feet and I think that kind of showed through today.
What's the main piece of feedback you've gotten from scouts, I guess today, at the combine, throughout the process?
Just quickness and the ability to move. That's what guys kind of like. They're not really telling me as much what they like about me. They're the ones kind of asking me the questions. But I think that's kind of come up a few times, a guy my size with the ability to move like I do.
