Interesting situation here. A group of Missouri football players has essentially gone on strike to protest the university president and his "negligence toward marginalized students’ experiences.” To my knowledge, this is the first time something like this has actually transpired, at least in recent years - there have been rumors over the years about this sort of thing for player compensation/benefits issues, but I think this is essentially unprecedented.
