A question to ponder and comment on:
I would guess the following salary increases reported below by Ohio State are similar to Michigan, Alabama, Georgia, Clemson and a few others. How far off are the Stanford assistant coach salaries from these? I would guess that we are approximately 1/2 of these below?
“Ohio State: The school has announced raises for most of the returning coaches. The raises are as follows: DC Greg Schiano ($700,000 to $1.5 million), co-OC Ryan Day ($400,000 to $1 million), OC Kevin Wilson ($650,000 to $800,000), DL coach Larry Johnson ($575,225 to $750,000), RB coach Tony Alford ($450,000 to $525,000), OL coach Greg Studrawa ($410,000 to $500,000) and WR coach Zach Smith ($300,000 to $340,000). Returning LB coach Bill Davis will continue to make $500,000), new co-DC Alex Grinch will earn $800,000, and new CB coach Taver Johnson will make $345,000. Ohio State adds that discussions are underway on a two-year extension through 2022 for Urban Meyer.”
