I thought that we could put up yards and points on the trojans, but couldn't stop their offense, so correct about that. But I also expected us to lose by at least 30. Rather, if not for a questionable overturning of what could/should have been a TD and an unfortunate fumble by EJ on the 2, we win.

The offense looked goodand play calling was decent along with offensive new stuff - all made for an entertaining offense with lots of total yards and yards rushing. Defense was horrible the frst half, much better the second, but SC is potent on O and I didn't expect much from our D - so is what it is.

Only two things bugged me (besides the refs and SC constant fouling and only getting call sometimes); (1) really hated our last possession even if game out of reach - bit never know. Started badly with FIlkins catching the punt inside the 5 (on the 3?). You're never supposed to catch it inside the 5. I'm pretty sure SC would not have kept it out of the endzone so we started way in a hole instead of at the 20. there was also no big urgency/hurry up. And why all the runs and no use of TOs. Looked like we were just running out the clock. (2) McKee still hasn't improved his pocket presence from last year. He takes way too many sacks. Needs to show some mobility and ger away from a rush, or take off and run, or throw the ball away. He also didn't see some wide open receievers. He's got the arm and physique to play in the NFL, but it's really going to hurt his chances in the draft if he doesn't learn/do something to avoid sacks,

Overall, it was a good effort by out guys. ALso no issues with the coaching. Frustrating game, but mostly fun to watch and our guys generally played well. Also looked like a nice crowd.
