pretty interesting blurb from an article called "Late Bloomers":


"In last month's Super Bowl neither the New England Patriots
nor the Seattle Seahawks had a five-star recruit in their starting lineup.
Translation: Not one of the 44 starters was a top-rated prospect in high
school.





If you cheer for late bloomers, it gets even better.
According to 247sports, a website that keeps track of who's who in high school
sports, both the Seahawks and the Patriots had only four four-star recruits
among their starters. As first reported by CBS Sports, the Seahawks had an
average rating of 2.4 among its starters, while the Patriots scored 2.3."
