Several months ago, Andrew Luck said we were middle of the pack in ACC NIL. I don't know what that number is, but for this exercise...let's assume $5-$6M. Stanford probably spreads some of that to other sports...perhaps more than some of the other middle-tiered ACC schools.
So, assuming an NIL football budget of $4M next year, how would you allocate it? Remember that there's probably a base amount that goes to everyone. (I get that we don't have as much as Michigan...or need more or whatever...but humor me and play along...if the number is really $8M, everything would just be doubled. The allocation is the interesting exercise.)
Try to account for an 85 player roster.
Some spots can be generalized, like...roster spots #40-#85 = $30K each for $ 1,350,000, or 4 returning OL (Pale, House, xxx, xxx) $50K each for $200K.
Daniels - xxx
Brown - xxx
Mosely - xxx
Bailey - xxx
OL Transfer - xxx
Perhaps assume Ayomanor goes pro, but Bailey is in play to stay. Or whatever...do it however you want!
PS - I know this is oversimplified...since there's the House settlement stuff...but that's an unknown at this point.
