Per the Gabe Reid has committed to Stanford.
Reid, who plans to serve a two-year LDS church mission prior to the start of his college career, picked the Cardinal over offers from BYU, where he has significant family ties, and Utah, as well as several Pac-12 programs. He's probably going to play outside linebacker in Stanford's 3-4 scheme. Reid is not ranked particularly highly, but he's another nice addition. He received an offer from Stanford pretty early in the recruiting process and was a top target of the in-state schools, which is always nice to see.
