Just looking at the remaining schedule and putting out a possible scenario. This is done by gut; tools like Sagarin would admittedly be more scientific. I see home games against Oregon and Arizona as being ones where wins would be big for us. I'm giving us a W in the Oregon game. I recognize that I likely lean optimistic throughout the schedule, and I realize that on days we show up and can only score 60 points...whether it be due to 2-21 on 3's or by turning the ball over 20 times...we can lose to anyone. Even Cal. It also appears that our schedule sets us up to again end the season on a downward trend...so don't be surprised.

I wish we'd used our "preseason" to learn things about our team...for example, who's the best point guard, what's our best 8-man rotation, etc. But I don't feel we know anything much more than we did a month ago...other than that a few of our (relative) "studs" who I'd hoped would shine, have not.

Here goes. The records in parenthesis are the cumulative running record in conference and overall.

W - Loyola Chicago at Santa Cruz (0-2, 5-7)
W - Colorado (1-2, 6-7)
W - Utah (2-2, 7-7)
W - @ Cal (3-2, 8-7)
L - @ Washington (3-3, 8-8)
W - @ WSU (4-3, 9-8)
W - OSU (5-3, 10-8)
W - Oregon (6-3, 11-8)
W - Chicago State (6-3, 12-8)
W - Cal (7-3, 13-8)
L - @ Utah (7-4, 13-9)
W - @ Colorado (8-4, 14-9)
W - ASU (9-4, 15-9)
L - Arizona (9-5, 15-10)
L - @ UCLA (9-6, 15-11)
L - @ USC (9-7, 15-12)
W - WSU (10-7, 16-12)
W - Washington (11-7, 17-12)
L - @ OSU (11-8, 17-13)
L - @ Oregon (11-9, 17-14)

Pac12 Tourney - 1 win, 1 loss

Overall Record 18-15.

Maybe this gives us an outside shot at the NIT. Anything short of this would not.
