It shouldn't be possible to post these with a straight face while excluding Andrew Luck and Christian McCaffrey, yet here we are. The reason seems pretty simple to me: media exists to cater to audiences and there is no audience for Stanford football content, so you get erasure of some of the best college football players of all time. This account exists to tout college football standouts and, in particular, those projected to be big NFL stars. Andrew Luck was literally the #1 overall pick in the NFL draft and widely considered one of the top five NFL draft QB prospects of all time. Christian McCaffrey was picked earlier in the draft than Henry, Taylor, Chubb, Cook, and Gurley. But PFF knows that it doesn't generate additional traffic, comments, or business of any sort by touting Stanford players. It's economical to create charts that hurt PFF's credibility by excluding SOMEBODY WHO HAS ALREADY BEEN SELECTED FOR THE COLLEGE FOOTBALL HALL OF FAME (unlike anybody else on either of these lists). Incredible.
I know I'm just whining, but sometimes you have to rant.
