Running, receiving, and passing
D. Henry: 349 plays, 2083 yards, 23 touchdowns, 162.5 yards per game
McCaffrey: 353 plays, 2416 yards, 14 touchdowns, 186.6 yards per game
All plays, including returns:
D. Henry: 349 plays, 2083 yards, 23 touchdowns, 162.5 yards per game
McCaffrey: 403 plays, 3535 yards, 15 touchdowns, 272.0 yards per game
There might be slight errors in my numbers, so I welcome corrections--but these are close if they aren't spot on
So the argument for Henry is that he averaged more rushing yards per game, and scored more touchdowns? Receiving doesn't count?
Passinng doesn't give mac added value, and make him more dangerous?
And returns don't count, it isn't a duty that your best offensive player performs, or Henry could have done just as well had he been asked to? (Uh, watch how Henry runs and how me might catch a ball; the answer is Don't be silly.)
