Yet another live TV streaming service announced, this time Hulu Live, with just about every sports network (including BTN, SEC, NBCSports, and even CBS Sports) included except Pac-12. So we will be able to watch Mountain West games on Hulu Live, but not Pac-12 games!
Unlike the other streaming services, Hulu Live is the real deal in terms of being able to almost fully replace satellite or cable at a lower price - just $40/mo. In addition to EVERY sports channel except Pac-12 and Longhorn, it has all the local networks, and all of the Fox, Disney, Comcast/NBC Universal, and Time Warner brands (save HBO). Buy yourself a few Apple TVs, or eventually Rokus, for less than $100/box and say goodbye to BS monthly advanced HD DVR fees or fees for additional receivers that now push cable/satellite bills up to more than 2X the Hulu Live price.
The whole point of maintaining 100% ownership supposedly was for the Pac-12 to be better-positioned for the transition of sports TV to digital distribution. Yet, Pac-12 is nowhere to be seen in this transition!
How does Larry Scott keep his job?
