If you are both a stat geek and a basketball fan, KenPom is a fun site to pay attention to. Every offseason, he creates a "Program Rating" to evaluate the relative strengths of various basketball programs. Not meant to be predictive for the next year, but, more, if the head coaching job was open, how attractive would it be. His blog about his work this year uses Stanford as an example case.
