When learning of Meyer's suicide and the parents' speculation on same, I said Stanford should really have a better appreciation of the ramifications its disciplinary processes can have on its own students.
We'll likely never know for sure what led to Meyer's death; regardless, I hope that Stanford University engages in some real soul-searching on this front and takes appropriate corrective action.
