Andy, thanks for recapping in detail Shaw's comments on Tuesday afternoon regarding the injury status of so many key players. Obviously, without any direct information from Shaw, it led to a lot of speculation among us and we tend to fear the worst about undisclosed injuries. This was especially true with Kevin Anderson as his apparent shoulder/pec observed condition indeed was reminiscent of Ben Gardner's season ending torn pec muscle. Sooooo glad and relived that Kevin will probably be ready to play against UCLA and there apparently was no severed tendon or muscle.
News on Scarlet and Shittu was also very welcome as they will be needed against run happy Arizona. I did expect Murphy to be able to play at right tackle Saturday night. At least against OSU, young back up D. linemen and linebackers got valuable PT.
We need to finish the ZONA game strong before our only bye week with UCLA and Rosen looming on the horizon.
