It seems likely that not only do we have an all-new offensive identity as a slow-mesh RPO team, we even kept it under wraps for a whole offseason *and* the first game.
I salute Shaw for -- and I never, ever thought I would say this -- throwing Shawfense in the trash and finding a new core to build around. I guess it's too early to say he's done that FOR SURE after just one game, but the RPO is still an option offense, and most coaches view the option as something that you don't just dabble in.
