- The Stanford defense played FIFTEEN (15) guys - you know what I always say, two-deeps are for practice, not big games. I believe I remember the head ball coach saying that they could not play with only 3 DL.
- Holding to form, 4,5,21 and 29 played every snap
- Nick Davidson played 14 snaps - all runs
- David Bright played 22 snaps - all runs
- Rollins Stallworth played 20 snaps - all runs. Rollins Stallworth is a WR.
- Alameen Murphy made his first college start at CB
- Graham Shuler was replaced for a handful of short-yardage plays. It was hinted earlier in the week that Caspers would be getting more snaps at center.
