Sorry for my cyncism, but really hard to take this whole endeavor as "amateurism."

Dont have a solution, but more and more money imo simply leads to more and more corruption of the process.

Actually, Im confused by the numbers. Cant see how adding the playoff alone would have the payout go from 300 million to 500 million, seems incredible. Thoughts?

Anyone want to venture a guess on how long until we are at an 8 team playoff? Where else do you get that kind of return in life?

Infrastructure all in place and paid for, zero risk, just flip the switch, akin to being able to print money. So no cost to the decision makers, and huge benefit, honestly how long before we are at 8 games?

BTW, as a consumer, I cant wait for an 8 game playoff.

My concern is what does this ongoing money expansion do to the concept of college athletics? Where does it end? Who finally says enough is enough? Or does it even matter as long as everyone involved is happy?

And Ill say it again, as a consumer, the thought of an 8 game playoff is wonderful, but therein lies the dilemma, the business guys know that.
