Not a ton super notable from this morning's press conference, but a few items to pass along:
-The Johnny Caspers at center experiment will continue this week. Caspers took short yardage snaps at center on Saturday against UCF and his role at center could actually expand beyond short yardage this week. Dave Bright would likely be inserted at guard in those instances.
-The Bryce Love direct snap was an accident - it was intended to go to McCaffrey, but the timing of the motion was off.
-The long TD pass to Love wasn't in Stanford's original game plan, and it's actually something Love hadn't run since early in camp. They talked about it at halftime and implemented it.
-Stanford emerged from the UCF game relatively healthy. Remound Wright was a bit banged up but he should be ready for USC, Shaw said.
-Shaw said as far as he knows, Noor Davis is still on track to return sometime this year. Not exactly sure when, but there haven't been any setbacks thus far.
