Stanford finished 9-4 with a 4-game win streak and is ranked NR (CFP), 30 (AP), and 32 (Coaches). We are 24 in Jeff Sagarin’s ranking, so that may be a proxy for us being around the 26-30 in CFP rankings.
To determine any potential upward movement, I looked at any team with 9 or fewer wins or ranked ahead of us and ranked below 20 in the CFP.
There is no way that we jump:
