Eastern Washington is playing later today in the "final 4" of FCS and is the prohibitive favorite to win the FCS championship. Last weekend they beat up on Richmond 38-0 (same Richmond team who won by 17 at UVA) and they are 14 point favorites over Youngstown State today.

North Dakota State (who beat Iowa earlier this season) was eliminated yesterday after a ridiculous five consecutive FCS titles (and 22 consecutive playoff wins). Eastern Washington's only loss this season was at NDSU in overtime.

In retrospect, Washington State's embarrassing non-conference showing to start the season doesn't look so bad: 3 point loss to EWU, 3 point loss at Boise and 50 point win against Idaho (8-4 record and a bowl team).
