Looking at his bio on the Niners website, it says he was 2x Honorable Mention at Stanford, and First Team All-Big Ten at Michigan. This begs the question, did he get that much better at Michigan, or was he not getting appropriately evaluated because he was on lousy Stanford teams?
Anyway, I hope Nugent gets some meaningful snaps tonight. I watched former Stanford C and pending Free Agent Drew Dalman play fantastic for ATL last night. The Niners desperately need to improve the C position as Jake Brendel is just not it. I wonder which former Stanford C John Lynch will prefer?
