Double Eagle Defense on UMC Two Point Conversion Attempt

Finally getting a chance to watch the replay my son pointed out to me that Stanford went into a double eagle or "Bear" defense on the critical UNC two point conversion attempt. With the center and guards covered and Branch blitzing this allowed Solly to quickly circle inside untouched with a sprint to Trubisky and was able to bring him down with one hand grabbing the back of the jersey. Trubisky again tried to turn in the opposite direction as he did on the TD pass but Solly's big mitt held. It was a great defensive call by Lance Anderson and the first time Stanford used that defensive alignment the whole game.
