Here's the audio.
I also spoke with Jordan Watkins and Morgan Turner after practice. But I'm an idiot and seem to have somehow misplaced my audio recorder somewhere between the Stanford practice fields and my home, so the TE notebook may have to wait. (I was able to recover the Watkins file thanks to David Lombardi of ESPN, who was also out there and spoke with Watkins, so hat tip to him. Will hopefully have something with that up later today or tomorrow)
Anyway, key points from Shaw's media availability.
-Harrison's injury is "non surgical. Should be a little bit of time, but no ligament damage. He'll probably miss a little bit, but I'll probably know more in about a week or so. Doubtful for USC - very doubtful. Most likely out. But much better news that it could have been, so he's excited, his family is excited."
-Different knee than the previous injury.
-Bryce Love is "making very good progress. Looks good for USC... He's already running. I think he starts cutting this week also. We'll know for sure when we get back on the field Monday night next week, but he should be ready to go."
-Fumble was a pure exchange issue with QB/RB. Besides that, second half offensive issues were "a little bit of us and a little bit of them." KSU underrated - physical and stout up front.
-Solomon Thomas was "a heartbeat away from a five sack night."
-Jordan Watkins really started to focus solely on the defensive tackle position in spring ball. Safe assumption he'll start there against USC.
-Comments on officiating (Alijah Holder pass interference, Curtis Robinson block in the black) toward the end of the audio.
"Judgement call by us" on not using hands team late in the game. Stanford had worked surprise onside kick defense, Stanford wasn't sure if Kansas State would use it or not.
-Stanford will practice through Weds. and then give its players a four-day weekend.
