There's a couple of articles from Adam Gorney about National Signing Day that touch on Stanford a bit. Figured I would just put both of them in one thread since Stanford is only talked about a bit in both. Mainly about the guys they lost, unfortunately.
The only thing I would add is this focused exclusively on high school additions. If you include the two offensive linemen Alec Bank and Trevor Mayberry who Stanford added, I definitely wouldn't call them a loser for the day. Maybe not a winner, either because they weren't able to keep some good freshmen. But, adding Bank and Mayberry was significant. And then one of the PWOs they got at wide receiver Myles Libman has a chance to be a real steal. This is all to say National Signing Day wasn't all bad for the Cardinal.
