Rivals (the excellent Adam Gorney) has our prize QB commit KJ Costello trending down. Just a few months ago he was considered one of the top 3 QBs in the country but now seems to be trending down. If he continues this downward trend, will he lose a star (from 4 to 3)? The staff put a lot of time into recruiting KJ. His recruitment seems to parallel the recruitment of Ricky Town who was a bust at USC. I recall a recent post by Andy indicating we dodged a bullet. Has the staff made the same assessment error with Costello? That would be a shame, because I really like KJ's personality and maturity. I think he would be a great addition to the 2016 Class. But if the staff errs twice in 2 years, that would not be a good sign. I am hoping the downward trend for Costello is temporary and he ends up taking a huge step up in the next 2+ months.
