Caught up with OL Clark Yarbrough to discuss his commitment to Stanford. (Conducted the interview via email rather than phone, which is why the answers maybe aren't as expansive as they usually are.)

I actually think Stanford's in a pretty solid spot with offensive line recruiting. The goal is to take three tackles and one interior lineman. Yarbrough is a tackle, and a good one, and Stanford's easily among the leaders for Devery Hamilton and Matt Farniok. And there is a pretty solid group of tackles who haven't been offered yet but are very much in the conversation. So if they can even get one of Hamilton/Farniok along with Yarbrough, and then one of solid guys who have not been offered, they'll be in a good spot. Parker Braun and John Raridon are still two of the primary interior OL candidates. We'll see how that all plays out as far as getting Raridon back on campus and getting Braun to visit. I think they'd actually have a good shot with Parker if he visits, but getting him on campus might be difficult.
So, basically, while there's not a ton of room for error among the offered offensive linemen, I think the OL class should turn out OK. And Yarbrough is an excellent start.
