I'm SUPER curious what y'all think about this. Should she do it? Is it a distraction for her playing the tournament? Will it create jealously among WNBA players who have paid their dues and can't make what Clark will make playing 8 games, in probably 10 WNBA seasons? Will it help boost the WNBA?
I can see a lot of people trying to equate this to Riggs-Billy Jean King, but that was a misogynistic play billed as the "battle of the sexes" to make BJK and women look bad. Sure it is a savvy business move to get attention for his league, but I see Ice Cube coming from a much different place of women's empowerment with this offer.
