Answering a question on TOS about Stanford's best classes I had the advantage of historical perspective and listed in order:
1 The Vow Boys freshman class with four College Hall of Famera: Reynolds, Grayson, Hamilton and Moscrip.
2 Ralston's 1965 class: Washington, Snider, Messer, Shoemaker, Broughton, De La Forrest, Marquess et al.
3 Walsh's class of Nelson, Margerum, Chapman, Holloway, et al plus Tom Brunansky who starred for the Twins and did not matriculate.
4 Shaw's class of OL's and Shittu which has somewhat underperformed.
Any thoughts?
