Scott started and Cal got early 4-1 lead, then Dowd came in and our bats went to work putting Stanford ahead in 6th inning. O Halarn(SIC???) relieved Dowd to get some action but they got to him, then Bruno finished off the last 2 innings, despite questionable control. Later hitting and Dowd in middle relief won the game. Now auto-advance to semis since #1 seed, regardless of how we do vs Oregon tonight.
Typical game for this season... the other team gets plenty of runs over our meh-to-middling pitching, but our offense gets more vs theirs.
