-I do think it's fair to term safety a position of need in this recruiting class, and Chacho has some very solid qualities. The first thing that pops out to me - especially in light of the struggles of Stanford's defense to force turnovers over the past few seasons - is that he's been a one-man takeaway machine. Per his HUDL, he was involved (in some capacity) in 18 turnovers over his sophomore and junior seasons. And per Max Preps, he had two more INTs through the first four games of this season. I'm not entirely sure to what extent turnover creation is a quality that translates from high school to college (or even from year to year), and Ulloa is part of perhaps the nation's best high school secondary, but it's an encouraging statistic.

-Here's Rivals' evaluation from the last time we saw Chacho in action: https://stanford.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1782275
-As noted in the other thread, Stanford is up to No. 11 in the Rivals team rankings. They're currently No. 1 in the Pac-12. No. 9 in average star ranking.
-Do not assume that Stanford is done at safety with the Ulloa commitment even though there might not appear to be a ton of super realistic targets. Ikenna Okeke is hanging around and there are some other interesting options.
-I added J.K. Dobbins, a 2017 running back from Texas, to the offer list. I was able to confirm that he does have a Stanford offer.
-In light of this new Demetris Robertson interview dnburge posted in the twitter thread, I'd again note that it's just not all that likely Demetris ends up at Stanford at this point.
-Stanford will be out on the road again this weekend (or at least a few coaches will be out) recruiting. I've heard they'll swing by Jeff McCulloch's HS - I'll pass along any other names I come across.
