As expected, Utah safety Scotty Edwards announced his commitment to Stanford today. He was accepted by the university in November and since then it would have taken a dramatic turn of events for him not to sign with Stanford.
Lance Anderson was his main recruiter and when I first heard about him the quick eval was that Stanford is really impressed with his playmaking ability at safety. There will be a press conference with David Shaw Wednesday and I look forward to hearing more about Edwards.
