Wanted to get this up before we focus on Big Visit/the 2015 recruiting class close for much of the rest of the month.
One of the players Stanford checked on during last month's evaluation period was four-star Serra OLB/DE Oluwole Betiku. They haven't been in contact with him much lately but he said he got a 3.8 last term, so no reason why they couldn't ramp back up.
His life story is probably more interesting than his actual college recruitment. He was born and raised in Nigeria and only came to the states after being discovered at a camp in Nigeria. He moved here 14 months ago and hasn't seen his parents since. Despite playing only one year of organized football he has picked up a ton of college offers and is ranked pretty highly. So a pretty interesting story, and a name to remember moving forward.
