The good news for the Cardinal is that they're in McGovern's top five even though they've only been recruiting him for a week. The not so good news is that they have substantial ground to make up in a short period of time - he wants to decide before the end of the school year. He did indicate that he would likely take an unofficial to Stanford, so if they can make that happen before McGovern shuts everything down they should have a chance.
